So, I am sitting around and decide I need to draw something and I haven't done anything with a fine art style in almost 9 years. Probably closer to 10. So I did. I found an old piece of illustration board, grabbed some graphite and went at it.

After about 15 hours of work, here's what I came up with. Original is 17 x 22.

Please forgive some of the roughness of the strokes. I am a bit raw, in terms of technique. My illo board was cold press and I prefer either hot press or museum board. Both of which are harder to find. But find it, I shall, for my next piece.

I hope everyone who sees it gets a little enjoyment from it. This was extremely enjoyable to start, work on, and, most importantly, to have finished.

Ok, so I am now in Canada, living the life in London, Ontario, working for Big Blue Bubble Games.

Settling in, kids are in school, some very good neighbors, and getting used to being back in a city. Very much like Louisville in ways, slightly different, being that it is Canada.

Working on UI stuff for the very first time, learning Pixel Art, and basically learning the ropes of a new company with a different business focus.

We will see where it goes.

4 days of work left. 6 days to driving to Ohio, then on to Canada and the new job.

No takers on the commissions, but hey, been out of the loop for a while and I haven't posted stuff people want to see, I suppose.

So, not getting a huge bite on the offers, so I am adjusting the prices downward. I still need that moving cash!

Updated Rates: $50.00 US for a full body, b&w pencil drawing of a character, on 11x14 bristol board, 25.00 for each additional character (up to 4 total). Tones: additional 25.00 US. Shipping to be arranged.

I am also willing to offer my own design services if you have your OWN character you'd like designed. I normally charge quite a bit for this service, but I will offer the full spread of design services, including sketches, 2 refinements, final drawing, and a COLOR painted version for $150.00.
